They call me Sleepy Bullet

I'm Sleepy, the one behind Sleepy's Garage. I fix cars and bikes, and I build them too. This is why.

Some people clock in. I tune in. When I pop a hood or pull a fairing, the rest of the world goes quiet and it's just me, the machine, and the problem in front of me. That's my happy place. There's nothing like the moment a dead engine coughs, catches, and settles into a clean idle. A car that wouldn't start this morning is ready to get somebody to work tomorrow. A bike that's been sitting in a garage is ready for the road again. I get to give people their freedom back, one repair at a time, and I never get tired of that feeling.

For me, it all started with MotoGP and F1. Those two are what made me fall in love with racing and speed. The sound hit me first: engines screaming on the limit, echoing off the grandstands. Then the speed and the precision. In MotoGP, riders fold a bike over so far their elbows skim the tarmac. In F1, cars brake impossibly late and carve through corners like they're on rails. Watching racers live right on the edge, every corner a split-second decision between perfect and disaster, lit something in me. MotoGP is what got me into sport bikes. I didn't just want to watch anymore. I wanted to ride, and the more I rode, the more I wanted to understand what was happening underneath me: what makes a machine pull, stop, and sing.

I watched them race on the edge, and I never looked back.

That's where I fell in love with working on vehicles, and building them. Cars have always been part of it, too. I've been working on cars for as long as I can remember. Long before I could explain how an engine worked, I wanted to know what was inside, and I wasn't afraid to get my hands dirty finding out. That curiosity turned into skill, and the skill turned into a calling. Fixing what's broken is satisfying, but building something up, piece by piece, until it runs the way it should is a whole other feeling. Daily drivers, weekend projects, the car that "just started making a weird noise": every one teaches me something, and every one gets my full attention.

I can't fully explain it, but I feel like I have a thing with engines. They talk, and I listen. A tick, a knock, a hesitation, a vibration you feel through the wheel or the bars. Most people hear noise. I hear a story, and usually I already have a good idea where it's headed. Engines are honest. They tell you exactly what's wrong if you're willing to pay attention, and paying attention is what I do. That's how I find the real problem instead of throwing parts at it, so you only pay for what your ride actually needs.

Which brings me to the name. Sleepy's Garage has nothing to do with being tired. It's about the grind. I work at night while everyone else sleeps. When the streets go quiet and the town shuts down, that's when I'm locked in, under the hood, making sure your ride is ready by morning. You go to bed with a problem. You wake up with a solution.

Passion is great, but you need results, so here's what you get from me, car or bike, big job or small. Honest work: I fix what's actually wrong and tell you straight. Clear communication: you'll know what's going on and get a quote before any work starts. A ride you can count on, back on the road and running the way it should. And you don't even have to come to me. I bring mobile service for cars and bikes to you around Sarasota, FL.

At the end of the day, cars and bikes aren't just the job. They're the passion. Everything with an engine, from the daily driver that has to start every single morning to the sport bike built for the open road, gets the same care, the same focus, and the same respect. When your ride leaves my hands, I want you to feel what I felt the first time I heard an engine come alive: confidence, freedom, and a little bit of excitement for the road ahead.
